Founded in 2007 by Stephanie and Eduard Tscheppe, this small-production winery located in the heart of Burgenland creates their ‘family’ of wines all biodynamically, with respect for the environment put first. ‘Atanasius’ is a 50/50 Zweigelt and Blaufrankisch blend, vinified in barrel with three weeks of skin contact. The final wine shows notes of juicy dark fruit, spice, and dirt. Pair with veggie burgers or pizza!
