Ignios Origenes was founded by Borja Perez, a rising star in the Canary Islands’ winemaking scene. A former fireman, Perez discovered his passion for indigenous varieties back in 2011 and began vinifying his own juice the following year. This Listan Negro is produced from organically farmed fruit in Borja’s gravity-fed winery. Juice is vinified in steel/concrete and aged in old French barrique. The final wine shows volcanic notes of red fruits, blood orange, dried herbs, and sea spray. Absolutely stunning!
