Comando G Tierra de Castilla y Leon 'Tumba del Rey Moro' 2016

Self-proclaimed ‘Garnachistas,’ Comando G focuses on single-vineyard Grenache, hailing from rugged, mountain top vineyards across Gredos. ‘Tumba del Rey Moro’ comes from high elevation, granitic-sandy soils, farmed organically and biodynamically. The juice is cold macerated, then fermented and aged 12 months in wood, giving way to an expressive, aromatic final wine, oozing with notes of red and dark fruits, spice, and well-integrated oak.
