When it comes to cream of the crop Meursault, 1er Crus from Roulot is basically as good as it gets. Now with nearly ten years of age on it, this ‘Clos des Boucheres’ is really showing its feathers. Fruit-forward notes of stone fruit and apple are turning a bit more tertiary and earthier, though the citrus-driven acidity and saline-tinged finish are still very much present. This special bottle ain’t for the faint of heart!
