Calluna Proprietary Red 'CVC' Chalk Hill 2015

David A. Jeffrey moved to Fresno to enroll in oenology school in 2001, going on to establish Calluna Vineyards back in 2005. His 4.85 hectares of vines sit in the heart of the Chalk Hill appellation and are dedicated to red Bordeaux varieties. This savory, medium-bodied wine shows flavors of sappy plums, wild berries, and black fruit, noted with spicy cedar undertones. Dusty, fine-grained tannins give way to a lasting finish.
