Formerly known as Podere San Giuseppe, Stella di Campalto was established in 1910 in the southeast portion of Montalcino. The estate’s 5.5 hectares of vines are farmed all organically with biodynamic principles implemented. Stella’s ‘Rosso’ is released nearly one year later than the appellation requires, which gives the wine added structure and complexity. Juicy and balanced, the wine shows flavors of cherries, strawberries, fresh cut herbs, and tobacco. Clean and precise, this bottle illustrates ‘Baby Brunello’ at its finest.
