Newfound Mourvedre 'Scaggs' Mt Veeder 2017

Matt Naumann and Audra Chapman created Newfound Wines after nearly two decades of managing wine bars, shops, and cellars. The duo farms an array of varieties across their 16 hectare ranch, creating wines with a 'less is more' mindset. Fruit for ‘Scaggs’ comes from a one-hectare plot situated at 1100-1400 feet above sea level. Dark and structured, the wine shows flavors of ripe berries, meat, and earth, marked by well-integrated, grippy tannins.
