Domaine de Montille was founded in Hubert de Montille, a former Dijon-based lawyer, back in 1951. Hubert inherited 2.5 hectares of vines in Volnay, which he slowly added to over time. Today, the estate is run by his son Etienne, who produces wines with a traditional Burgundian mentality. Fruit is partially destemmed and wines are aged in 20-30% new oak. ‘Aux Saints-Juliens’ is an elegant and harmonious Pinot Noir, marked by floral-driven notes of red fruit, cedar, leather, and tobacco leaf. Will age gracefully!
