Monte Rio Rubired California 2018

Founded by Patrick Cappiello and Pax Mahle, Monte Rio Cellars highlights the unique grape varieties, winemaking styles, and growing sites of California’s North Coast. Rubired is a hybrid of Tinto Cão and Alicante Ganzin and is one of California’s lesser-known varieties. Juicy and fruit-forward, the wine shows flavors of ripe blackberries and currants, with spicy tobacco notes lingering on the finish. A delight to drink!
