Founded in the 1950s , Isole e Olena represents the joining of two Tuscan estates. Now headed by the De Marchi family’s third-generation, the estate continues to put out rustic, fuller-bodied styles of Chianti that are perfect for laying down in the cellar. The 2016 Chianti Classico is vibrant and smooth, marked by notes of juicy cherries, wet soil, and wild herbs.
