This impressive Chianti Classico is one of the most exciting wines we’ve tasted from the region over the past year. Juicy notes of cherries, forest berries, tobacco leaf, pepper, and damp earth lead to a zesty, acid-driven finish. Fruit comes from organically/biodynamically farmed vineyards in the heart of the appellation and is aged for 14 months in oak barrels. Serve chilled and get ready for a seriously delicious time.

Cigliano di Sopra is owned and operated by Matteo Vaccari and Maddalena Fucile, a dynamic young couple shaking things up in Tuscany. Prior to taking the reins at Cigliano di Sopra, Matteo and Maddalena worked alongside Sashi Moorman and Rajat Parr at Evening Land, Sandhi, and Domaine de la Côte.
