Domaine Jamet Cote-Rotie 2014

Located on the ‘Le Vallin’ plateau, Domaine Jamet has proudly vinifies traditional style Northern Rhone Syrah at the namesake estate; currently headed by Jean-Paul and his wife Corinne, the duo is working on their 41st vintage, using whole-cluster fermentations, stainless steel vinifications, and elevage in large oak casks for 22 months. The 2014 is distinctly floral, with peppery notes of smoke and dark fruit. Well-integrated tannins and a plush palate make this wine a classic; lay down until 2020, or even another 5-10 years.
