Domaine Michel Niellon Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru 'Clos de la Maltroie' 2019

One of Chassagne's best producers, the family-run domaine now led by Michel's son-in-law Michel Coutoux, currently produces wine from two handfuls of appellations, ranging from Bourgogne to Premier to Grand Crus. Meticulous work in the vineyard, which is handled only by family members, has earned the domaine a prestigious reputation. 

This fine vintage of Maltroie shows orchard fruit and florals with a whiff of pastry notes. An incredible balance of texture and salinity. Highly recommended!
