Faury Cote-Rotie 'Emporium' 2019

Lionel Faury took control of his family estate ten years ago. Their vines are located on steep terraces across some of the Northern Rhone’s best appellations and benefit from a southern exposure. Fruit for ‘Emporium’ is hand-harvested and sourced from the Fouvier lieu-dit. Fermentation lasts 18-22 days and 20-30% of whole clusters are included, followed by 27 months of aging in demi-muids and barrels. Peppery with notes of olives, intense dark fruits and berries, this is a perfect match to all things grilled, red meats, and other hearty fare.
