Ronco del Gnemiz was established in the 1960s by the Palazzolo family, situated on the top of the hill of Rosazzo in Friuli. Clay and limestone-rich soils allow fruit to optimally ripen, while Adriatic breezes and mountain influence from the Alps keeps acidity high. This blend of Cab Franc, Cab Sauvignon, and Merlot delivers the tannic structured you'd expect from such a wine. We love the dark floral and fruit notes that deliver with spice and tar notes for complex layers. You can enjoy this now or hang on for a few years.
