Bodegas Akutain Rioja Cosecha 2016

Founded in 1975 by Juan Penagaricano, Bodegas Akutain focuses on small-batch, high quality wines from Rioja, produced in a traditional style that highlights the high-elevation growing sites of Rioja Alta. ‘Cosecha’ is comprised mostly of Tempranillo and Garnacha, fermented with wild yeasts and aged in fiberglass. Youthful and dark-fruited, the wine shines alongside traditional Spanish tapas and jamon-heavy charcuterie boards.
