Chateau Talbot St Julien 2010

 Now with ten years of age on it, this robust St-Julien from one of Bordeaux’s famed Fourth Growths is beginning to show its best. Full-bodied notes of stewed dark fruits, cedar, graphite, and potting soil  dominate this savory wine, which is balanced with bright acidity and integrated tannins. (2010 vintage in St-Julien: Great year marked by optimally ripe fruit, prominent acidity, and firm tannins. Drink from 2018 onwards.)
