Domaine Brun-Avril Chateauneuf-du-Pape 2013

Hailing from the northern portion of Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Domaine Brun-Avril’s two distinguishable plots sit on hillsides of sandy clay soils. Grapes are vinified separately, then expertly blended together to create the desired flavor profile. The domaine’s entry level CDP is powerful and robust, full of sappy dark fruit and spice. A uniquely Syrah-dominant assemblage sets this cuvée apart from neighboring producers.
