Leon Barral Faugeres 'Valiniere' 2015

Thirteenth generation Didier Barral produces wines within Faugères, estate-bottling and commercially selling his wines since 1993. Biodynamic principles across his 30 hectares of vines, creating healthy microbial activity and biodiversity within the vineyard’s ecosystem. ‘Valiniere’ macerates in cement and is basket pressed, barrel aging for 24-26 months. Mourvedre dominant and spicy, giving way to a savory and powerful, age-worthy wine.
