Maxime Magnon Corbieres 'Rozeta' 2015

The only thing better than an old vine field blend from southern France? One bottled in a magnum, of course. Burgundian legend Maxime Magnon takes on the hills of the Corbieres down in France’s southerly Languedoc region with this recent project. ‘Rozeta’ is a unique field blend composed predominantly of old vine Carignan, hailing from vines 50-60 years in age grown in schisty soils. Grapes are 100% whole cluster fermented, giving way to a velvety, aromatic cuvée full of crunchy red fruit and an insanely drinkable palate.
