Located in the heart of Santa Barbara, Presqu’ile’s family operation highlights soil-driven wines from cool-climate locations. The estate’s 29+ hectares are scattered across various elevations, focused on diversity & sustainability. The 2014 Syrah was 30% whole cluster fermented, aged for 18 months in French oak. Robust and gamey, the wine oozes with notes of blue & black fruits, pepper, flinty graphite, and herbs. Balanced, with a long finish.
