Ulysse Collin 'Roises' Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut Champagne [2015]

This powerful, hauntingly aromatic Champagne is one for the books. ‘Les Roises’ comes from a .60-hectare monopole vineyard in Congy, located just north of the Coteaux du Morin. The wine is aged for four years on the lees and is finished with just 1-2 grams of dosage at most. Intense notes of citrus confit, white flowers, chalk, brioche, hazelnut, and sweet spice lead to a profoundly lingering finish.
