Revolutionary winemaker Daniel Landi is making waves in Castilla y Leon with his unique, biodynamically farmed bottles, seeking to highlight the oftentimes forgotten terroir of Central Spain. Fruit for ‘Las Iruelas’ comes from a one hectare parcel dedicated to Grenache, fermented in old French oak and macerated for two months. Aged for 14 months in French barrique, giving way to a complex and silky expression of the grape.
