Jean-Louis Dutraive joined his father at the family estate in 1977 and now represents the fifth generation of Domaine de la Grand’Cour. Their estate is comprised of 10.6 hectares of organically farmed vines. This varietal Gamay comes from 30-year-old vines, aged in a combination of steel, vat, and foudre. Notes of wild berries, fresh herbs, violets, and wet stones dominate the wine’s silky palate. Almost too easy to drink!
