Henri's grandsons Pierre and Christian Gouges now run the show at this renowned Nuits-St-Georges estate and the wines are absolutely killer. 'Les Saint Georges' is destemmed and vinified in small oak barrels. Unlike the Gouges wines of the mid-20th century, which were rather dense, Pierre and Christian's wines are structured and powerful, yet remain balanced and sophisticated.
