Headed by North Carolina native Hank McCrorie, Burly wines are synonymous with Napa’s signature style. Fruit is harvested healthy and ripe, cold soaked for five days, then undergoes extended maceration before aging in oak. 20 months in barrel, plus two years in bottle, give way to a silky, full-bodied wine, full of luscious black fruit and mouth-coating tannins.
