Dolores Cabrera Fernandez Canary Islands Tinto 'La Araucaria' 2016

After years of selling grapes to larger producers, Dolores Cabrera founded her own winery in 2013, located in the heart of the Valle de la Orotava. Fruit is farmed organically, with a hands-off mentality implemented in the cellar. The 2016 ‘La Araucaria’ comes from 100 year old vines grown on Mount Teide, hand-harvested and destemmed. Savory and spicy, the wine gorgeously reflects the islands’ unique terroir.
