Charles Ballot took over this family estate in 2001, cultivating vines across five Premier Cru sites in Meursault, as well as other various appellations. Under Charles’ reign, yields were lowered and chemicals were eliminated, producing pure, native-yeast fermented wines from ten hectares of land. The 2016 Bourgogne Blanc shows notes of stone fruit and brioche, with zesty acidity and a lasting finish.
