Domaine Roulot Meursault 'Meix Chavaux' 2009

Known for their mastering of ‘lieu-dit’ farming, Domaine Roulot has become regarded as one of the finest producers in the entire Cote de Beaune. Founded in 1930, the winery has championed the soils of Meursault, cultivating wines of richness and precision. ‘Meix Chavaux’ comes from 50 year old vines on clay limestone soils; the 2009 vintage is flinty and aromatic, full of rocky minerality and weighty stone fruit flavors.
