Kumeu River Chardonnay 'Estate' New Zealand 2016

Kumeu River Wines is comprised of 30 hectares of vines rooted in clay/sandstone soils. Fruit is harvested by hand, ensuring that only the best clusters make the cut. Wines are site-specific and terroir-driven, making them some of our favorite Southern Hemisphere bottlings. The 2016 Estate Chardonnay is medium-bodied and silky, showing a rich, round palate full of fresh pear, wet mineral, and nutty flavors. A great ‘food wine’!
