Paul Pillot Chassagne-Montrachet 'Mazures' 2018

Led by Thierry Pillot—along with his father, Paul and his sister Chrystelle—Domaine Paul Pillot has reputation for making some of the region's most celebrated wines, since 2004. Some describe his style as understated, but that's not to say there isn't texture and length in his wines. On the contrary, the wines speak for themselves and the terroir without missing a beat.

'Mazures' offers citrus zest and bready notes, and a particularly vibrant finish. This is from an exceptional lieu-dit, directly below 1er Cru Champs Gains, farmed with organic practices.
