Ronco del Gnemiz Colli Orientali del Friuli Chardonnay 'Ronco Basso' 2017

Ronco del Gnemiz was established in the 1960s by the Palazzolo family and is situated on the top of Friuli’s famed Rosazzo hill. Clay and limestone-rich soils allow fruit to optimally ripen, while Adriatic breezes and mountain influence from the Alps keeps acidity high. This varietal Chardonnay is vinified in barrique and cement, leading to a soft and supple wine noted with flavors of green apple, stone fruit, and wet rocks. Delicious!
