Sandhi Chardonnay 'Bentrock' Sta Rita Hills 2017

Fruit for ‘Bentrock’ comes from its eponymous vineyard on the western edge of Sta Rita Hills. The vineyard is dominated by marine sedimentary soils and is densely planted. The wine is laser-sharp, mineral-driven, and marked by flavors of juicy quince, lemongrass, flint, chalk, and hay. The wine’s medium body and savory core are balanced by tangy acid, which leads to a textured and long-lasting finish.
