Scarpetta Friuli-Venezia Giulia IGT 'Frico Bianco' 2015

Former partners at The French Laundry, Bobby Stuckey and Lachlan Patterson joined forces and founded Scarpetta, focusing on Italy’s greatest regions and grape varieties. The 2015 ‘Frico Bianco’ is an 80/20 blend of Chardonnay and Friulano, vinified with a few hours of skin contact in stainless steel. Crisp and bright, notes of white flowers, citrus, and apple dominate on both the nose and palate-- a perfect aperitif wine!
