Comando G Vinos de Madrid 'Las Umbrias' 2016

Self-proclaimed ‘Garnachistas,’ Comando G focuses on single-vineyard Grenache, hailing from rugged, mountain top vineyards across Gredos. ‘Las Umbrias’ is a granite-dominant single vineyard, farmed organically and biodynamically at high elevations. Fruit is hand-harvested and spontaneously fermented, giving way to a floral, sophisticated wine, full of red fruit, leather, and meaty flavors, coupled with mineral-laced acidity.
