Alemany I Corrio Penedes 'El Microscopi' 2016

Irene Alemany and Laurent Corrio, a French (Breton) - Catalonian duo, met while vinifying wines in Burgundy, heading to California shortly after. Upon returning to Penedes in 1999, the duo created their first wine, abandoning the use of chemicals. The 2016 ‘El Microscopi’ is a juicy, structured blend of Carignan (90%) and Merlot, showing flavors of blackberries, cherries, fresh herbs, and citrus-driven acidity. A steal for the price!
