Colgin Proprietary Red 'Cariad' Napa Valley 2010

Ann Colgin’s cult Cabernets are a gorgeous addition to any Napa aficionado’s cellar. The 2010 ‘Cariad’ shows violet-tinged aromatics of citrusy currants, with peppery, mineral-driven undertones. Rich and plush, the wine remains silky and smooth. The final assemblage is 48% Cabernet, 28% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Petit Verdot. Luscious and layered; will age for two decades.
