Primitivo from winemaker Gina Hildebrand's family biodynamic vineyard, Narrow Gate Vineyards in Pleasant Valley, in the Sierra Foothills.

The grapes were carbonic for 10 days days of fermentation. Then, in classic Lady of the Sunshine style, they were foot tread, pressed, and fermented through in neutral oak. Wild yeast, unfined, unfiltered. 

Hildebrand says: "Think dried rose petals, blueberry crumble, & wild chaparral."
