Cascina Fontana Barolo 2013

Mario Fontana represents the sixth generation of Fontana family winemakers in the hills of Barolo, founding Cascina Fontana in 1995. The estate comprises four inherited hectares of vines, situated in Castiglione Falletto. The 2013 Barolo oozes with flavors of cherry, black fruits, and smoke, showing great balance despite its richness. Fermented and aged for eight months in steel, followed by 2 years of aging in large Slavonian oak barrels.
