Giacomo Conterno Barolo 'Francia' 2008

Known for producing some of Piedmont’s greatest Nebbiolo and Barbera, Giacomo Conterno has become regarded as regional winemaking royalty, crafting world-famous cuvées for the last 100 years. ‘Francia’ is a classic Barolo, showing powerful body, alcohol, and present tannins, as well as incredible aging potential. The 2008 vintage shows a highly fruit-forward bouquet, giving way to a dark fruited palate of earthy, tar on undertones. Textured and smooth, with a long, persistent finish.
