Roagna Barolo 'Pira Vecchie Viti' 2013

This varietal Nebbiolo from one of Piedmont’s top producers. Fruit for ‘Pira Vecchie Viti’ comes from some of the estate’s oldest vines, giving way to dry, structured cuvées full of pronounced aromatic and insane ageability. The 2013 vintage shows incredible length and backbone, with notes of red fruit, roses, tar, and tobacco; complex and elegant.
