Serafino is a small but fierce producer in the heart of the Montestefano cru. Husband and wife duo Teobaldo and Maria craft just two wines, their Barbaresco Montestefano and a Dolcetto d’Alba. Fruit for this wine is grown all organically and comes from clay-limestone soils, followed by 30-40 months of aging in large oak botti. High-acid notes of crunchy red fruit, herbs, crushed violets, and tobacco dominate this refined palate.
