Charbono has a storied place in the history of California wine. Grown and produced in California since the 1940s, the styles over the years have ranged from medium-bodied and snappy to richly extracted and aged in flashy new oak barrels. Pax's snappy little version is an effort to shed some light on this delicious variety that grows better than Pinot Noir ever will in this amazing sunshine state we get to call home.
Creamy and luscious on the palate with more way more zing than the luscious 2019 but with some similar juicy red, black & blue fruit. Drink this one young for more snap or let it age for a year or two for more of that creamy richness to dominate.
