Vietti Roero Arneis 2021

Vietti has been a staple in Piedmont since the 19th century and once someone has tasted any wine in the portfolio, they become a fan. The winery was one of the first to reinvigorate the plantation of Roero Arneis, a grape that had been relegated to blending, or even neglect, until the mid-20th century. It's interesting to note that previously this grape was regarded as "white Nebbiolo". If you haven't tried it, you are in for a treat. We love its delicacy, with herbal and slightly bitter notes. It's fabulous with fresh pasta drizzled in olive oil, young cheeses, or fresh salads.
