Jean-Jacques Coudray-Bizot works his vines with the utmost respect for the environment put first. Vines are never treated with chemicals and all work is done by hand. Decisions on destemming, new oak usage (though never more than 30%), and aging are made vintage by vintage. Fruit for ‘En Orveaux’ comes from 30-60 year old vines, leading to a silky and aromatic final cuvée marked by solid structure and well-integrated tannins.
