Founded in 1924 by Georges Roumier, Domaine G. Roumier holds the standard for sensational Burgundy. Now headed by Georges’ grandson, Christophe, the winery uses mostly destemmed fruit, which ferments and ages in oak. Roumier’s Chambolle-Musigny is a benchmark bottle for the region, showing textured and thought-provoking flavors of sour cherries, wet earth, and smoke.
