Domaine Lafarge Beaune-Greves 1er Cru 2009

Great Burgundy and the Lafarge name go hand in hand. Operated by Michel, now eighty years old, and his son Frédéric, the duo meticulously farm their ten hectares of vines biodynamically, vinifying wines with very little new oak and minimal racking, allowing the natural Burgundian terroir to speak. The 2009 Beaune-Greves shows earty notes of red fruit, cherries, and mushroom, showing fresh acidity and gorgeous evolution.
