Domaine Robert Ampeau Savigny-les-Beaune 1er Cru 'Lavieres' 1999

Domaine Robert Ampeau is located in the heart of Puligny-Montrachet and is run by Michel Ampeau. The family farms 10 hectares of vines scattered across 10 of Burgundy’s top Premier Crus. Wines are not released to the public until the family deems they are ready, an action put in place by Michel’s father, Robert. ‘Lavieres’ shows notes of cranberry, wet stones, and mushrooms. Even with 20 years of age on it, the wine is lively and refreshing!
