Henri Gouges Nuits-St-Georges 1er Cru 'Les Vaucrains' 2015

Henri Gouges founded the namesake domaine in 1920, bottling wines under the Gouges name as of 1933. Nearly 15 hectares of vineyards produce both village and Premier Cru wines, all in their state of the art, gravity flow facility. The 2015 ‘Les Vaucrains’ comes from a small 1 hectare plot of 50+ year old vines, creating a vibrant, rather large wine for Nuits-St-Georges, full of black fruit, game, and earth-driven flavors.
