If you want to get to know Portuguese wine, this should be one of your first stops. Luis Seabra is a winemaker with deep enough experience to know better than to intervene much with the terroir of the crystalline soils and altitude-driven climate of his Portuguese region. You’ll see when you experience the purity of his native variety-driven wines like this one, made from a local grape called Alfrocheiro. This certified organic wine is refreshing with tart red fruit and graphite-driven minerality. It's a lively red to go with grain salads or lean meats. If you haven't dabbled in Sebra wines, this is an excellent starting point.
